Located right on the stunning waters of the Pacific Ocean, the city of Huntington Beach is home to a bustling population of residents and businesses. While it might be best known for its 8.5-mile-long stretch of pristine beach, Surf City is also home to Huntington Harbor, Huntington Beach Central Park, some of the best shopping in SoCal, and so much more!
Huntington Beach actually began as a cattle town, and Beach Boulevard was a cattle route for the Spanish rancho. However, its agricultural roots changed quickly as the area’s natural beauty became more widely known. As the area changed, so did the name, going from Shell Beach to Smeltzer to Pacific City, before finally gaining its current moniker.
